'90s Korean pop

The decade in which the grammar of today's K-pop was written. In 1992 one team put rap and dance on television and the ground shifted; ballads, dance and hip-hop all sold at once, and from 1996 agency-trained idol groups took hold. Because dramas and variety shows keep returning to it as 'that era's music', even a newcomer has probably heard some of these names.
